So, this morning we were waiting in (a first-come, first-serve) line to pick up our Thanksgiving pies … (which we forgot to pre-order). We LOVE Emporium Pies in Bishop Arts, and are huge fans of them. However, in the busy-ness of life, it slipped our mind this year to order early. We arrived about an hour before they opened and enjoyed the AMAZING aroma coming from Moto Kofe, who was on the scene. It began to drizzle, but that didn’t scare us off. We persevered and left with our 3 holiday pies, Smooth Operator (gluten-free), Smooth Operator & Drunken Nut. Our Thanksgiving tradition is now complete.
Show some LOVE on Social Media for Moto Kofe and Emporium Pies.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
We were recently at Altair Global to wrap up a video project we are working on for them. The CEO of the company, Dennis, is so AMAZING! Leadership guru John Maxwell says that “everything rises and falls on leadership”. Dennis is a perfect example of that – his leadership style is one to be admired. Even though I work with Altair Global as a freelancer (doing both motion and stills), I would LOVE the opportunity to work every day at a place like theirs! UBER Fun Fact: I have been affectionately named “The Mayor of Altair”, which I consider a high honor.
P.S. See if YOU can spot our makeshift audio sound booth in these photos. ; )
Aggie Brooks Photographer and 3:17 Film Productions continue to do engaging videos together. We have had another wonderful year of film-making and story-telling.
Here are some production stills from 2 recent shoots we did back to back with Altair Global. We LOVE Altair and continue to bring them excellence via stills and motion, as well as witty inventions and creative solutions.
A recent shoot we did was in collaboration with AMS Pictures as a FABULOUS option that Altair loved. This very idea has opened up tremendous new opportunities for Altair that will take their videos (for their clients) to the next level and beyond. WIN|WIN for all.
We would be eager to meet with you and tell your story – let’s have lunch and connect.
On Saturday, November 14, Gateway Church in Frisco Texas went out into the city on a quest to BLESS people with kindness, recognition, acts of service & care packages. The event was called Bless A Life – Serve Day. I was drawn to attend the 1st responders group which was called “Bless! Truck”.
We went to Central Fire Station, Frisco Police Department, Centennial Medical Center & Baylor Medical Center at Frisco.
While there we had the AMAZING opportunity to thank them, pray with them and HUG them.
Take a look at the images that made November 14th so special to me.
I had a recent assignment for one of my top clients where I had to go back and photograph a single doctor to add to a group shot I had done for them several months ago. There were nine providers in the original group shot so this doctor would make #10.
So, I came up with a plan on how & where to put him and proceeded forward … the Practice Manager said, “Hey, would it help if I gave your assistant a lab coat as you are making your final tweaks?” I said, “GREAT idea!!!” My assistant put on the lab coat and it completely swallowed him. I literally started laughing out loud and thought, I bet others will think this is as funny as I do. ENJOY a good laugh today. THANK YOU Jackson for making my day!!!
Was recently doing company head shots for a client of mine & ‘THIS guy’ walked up …. he said “It’s just from the waist up, right?!” Of course MY response was “For YOURS, we need to do a head to toe!” He agreed. ; )
Seeing him MADE my day – so enjoy a little peek into my world — Behind the Scenes and Below the Waist.
We had a GREAT film shoot with one of our FAVORITE clients.
Here are a few productions stills that show the FUN we always have on set.
Here to give my clients both stills as well as motion. 2016 is going to be EPIC.
On Halloween this year I got to be a part of the Traditional Pumpkin Carving that my brother does with his boys.
We had so much FUN this year. Check out the pix for yourself. : )
Afterward, we all went to the annual ‘cul de sac cookout’ (right there in front of their house) complete with grilling, fire-pits & s’mores.
