Loving on Altair with MotoKofe

Today was a SUPER SPECIAL day.  I hired MotoKofe to come out to Altair Global in Plano Texas and serve them misc coffee beverages for several hours this morning.  I had Mary bake up some of her AMAZING cookies, and I got to hand them out personally to each and every person that stopped-by to get coffee.  A HUGE thanks to Norcostco for my EPIC costume – “Queen of Hearts”.  Today was a VERY good day – Happy Valentine’s Day 2016, everyone!

Campus Life

Had a recent assignment and opportunity to be on TCC‘s Southeast Campus.
Was reminded how MUCH I miss campus life.  College is such a GREAT time in life to discover who you are and where you’re going.  Looking forward to the next opportunity. See you around campus!!

Bless A Life Day

On Saturday, November 14, Gateway Church in Frisco Texas went out into the city on a quest to BLESS people with kindness, recognition, acts of service & care packages. The event was called Bless A Life – Serve Day.  I was drawn to attend the 1st responders group which was called “Bless! Truck”.
We went to Central Fire Station, Frisco Police Department, Centennial Medical Center & Baylor Medical Center at Frisco.
While there we had the AMAZING opportunity to thank them, pray with them and HUG them.
Take a look at the images that made November 14th so special to me.

A Doctor’s Stand-In

I had a recent assignment for one of my top clients where I had to go back and photograph a single doctor to add to a group shot I had done for them several months ago.  There were nine providers in the original group shot so this doctor would make #10.
So, I came up with a plan on how & where to put him and proceeded forward … the Practice Manager said, “Hey, would it help if I gave your assistant a lab coat as you are making your final tweaks?”  I said, “GREAT idea!!!”  My assistant put on the lab coat and it completely swallowed him.  I literally started laughing out loud and thought, I bet others will think this is as funny as I do.  ENJOY a good laugh today.  THANK YOU Jackson for making my day!!!

Behind the Scenes and Below the Waist

Was recently doing company head shots for a client of mine & ‘THIS guy’ walked up …. he said “It’s just from the waist up, right?!”  Of course MY response was “For YOURS, we need to do a head to toe!” He agreed.  ; )

Seeing him MADE my day – so enjoy a little peek into my world — Behind the Scenes and Below the Waist.  ABP_0806

The Traditional Pumpkin Carving

On Halloween this year I got to be a part of the Traditional Pumpkin Carving that my brother does with his boys.
We had so much FUN this year.  Check out the pix for yourself.  : )
Afterward, we all went to the annual ‘cul de sac cookout’ (right there in front of their house) complete with grilling, fire-pits & s’mores.

He’s pure Sunshine

Every time I am with THIS GUY, he is nothing but pure Sunshine.
He inspires me to see the very best in any and every situation.
This was us about to take a little drive to a local park.
I’m pretty sure he is going to be a world-changer.

We LOVED the snow

Had the most wonderful morning with our fur-babies.  We were so surprised to wake up and see such beauty.
Here are just a few pix from our wintery excursion.  I would definitely say we LOVED the snow.
By the way, Lucy chose to look away the entire time.  ; )

Feed My Sheep

I recently had an  A M A Z I N G  opportunity to join with other fellow Believers to make ham & cheese sandwiches for the homeless people that frequent Presbyterian Night Shelter in Fort Worth.  I saw on facebook that a friend of mine was extending an invitation to anyone who wanted to help.  Their goal was to make more than 1900 total sandwiches.  Trinity Cumberland Presbyterian Church does this every other month & I cannot wait to go back in May.

There were 2300 ham & cheese sandwiches made & when we ran out of ham we kept going and made 257 (double) cheese sandwiches!!  The total time to assemble all the sandwich makings was 1.5 hours.  They hit a new goal, 2557 TOTAL sandwiches were made and delivered.

Each sandwich = .28
Feed My sheep = PRICELESS

From my perspective

I have started a really cool assignment with one of my clients & the 1st assignment was to photograph the Denton courthouse at sunset.  I met up with the art director at a local coffee shop, we talked details and then headed up to the top of the 8-story Wells Fargo building.  Once arriving on the rooftop, we then had to grab a 10′ ladder and climb to the top (of that ladder) to get to our little 5’x5′ cement platform in order to get THIS perspective you see here.
Awesome way to start a really fun project.  Livin’ on the edge.  ; )Denton Texas Panoramic
