Loving on Altair with MotoKofe

Today was a SUPER SPECIAL day.  I hired MotoKofe to come out to Altair Global in Plano Texas and serve them misc coffee beverages for several hours this morning.  I had Mary bake up some of her AMAZING cookies, and I got to hand them out personally to each and every person that stopped-by to get coffee.  A HUGE thanks to Norcostco for my EPIC costume – “Queen of Hearts”.  Today was a VERY good day – Happy Valentine’s Day 2016, everyone!

Campus Life

Had a recent assignment and opportunity to be on TCC‘s Southeast Campus.
Was reminded how MUCH I miss campus life.  College is such a GREAT time in life to discover who you are and where you’re going.  Looking forward to the next opportunity. See you around campus!!

There is a new Broker in town

2016 is already looking AMAZING.  Not only is John Brooks NOW a real estate Broker, he is launching JB Real Estate Group, our first client of the year.  We are super excited to be his go-to film crew for all his video needs.

We thought you all would enjoy seeing the FUN he has on ALL his video shoots, he REALLY is a “natural” behind the camera, don’t let him tell you anything otherwise.  ; )

We enjoyed this shoot and are looking forward to producing many MORE video projects this year for our AMAZING clients.

A Project of a Lifetime

Over 3 years ago I was inspired by a Detroit-based photographer named Nicholas Nixon.  Nicholas started his project in 1975 by taking a portrait of his wife and her 3 sisters, and carried out the tradition every year.

I started in 2013 by taking a portrait of my 3 nephews.  This is truly a project of a lifetime.  It has been a practice of patience as well.  I am eager to see them change from year to year.  I decided to make it as accurate as possible by taking it every year on Christmas day.

Here is the project to date.

Oh what fun, it is to ….

I am a huge fan of traditions and THIS year’s Holiday Cookie delivery had a bit of a twist to it!  At the end of every year iLOVE to go around and deliver AMAZING Holiday Cookies to my clients, however, the twist this year was a trip to Norcostco first for this AMAZING costume.  Even enjoyed lunching at one of my most favorite places, Asian Buffet in Arlington.

2016 is going to be an EPIC year of fun adventures, surprises and MORE.

We LOVE Altair Global

We were recently at Altair Global to wrap up a video project we are working on for them. The CEO of the company, Dennis, is so AMAZING! Leadership guru John Maxwell says that “everything rises and falls on leadership”. Dennis is a perfect example of that – his leadership style is one to be admired.  Even though I work with Altair Global as a freelancer (doing both motion and stills), I would LOVE the opportunity to work every day at a place like theirs!  UBER Fun Fact:  I have been affectionately named “The Mayor of Altair”, which I consider a high honor.

P.S. See if YOU can spot our makeshift audio sound booth in these photos.  ; )

Behind the Scenes and Below the Waist

Was recently doing company head shots for a client of mine & ‘THIS guy’ walked up …. he said “It’s just from the waist up, right?!”  Of course MY response was “For YOURS, we need to do a head to toe!” He agreed.  ; )

Seeing him MADE my day – so enjoy a little peek into my world — Behind the Scenes and Below the Waist.  ABP_0806

The Traditional Pumpkin Carving

On Halloween this year I got to be a part of the Traditional Pumpkin Carving that my brother does with his boys.
We had so much FUN this year.  Check out the pix for yourself.  : )
Afterward, we all went to the annual ‘cul de sac cookout’ (right there in front of their house) complete with grilling, fire-pits & s’mores.

We LOVED the snow

Had the most wonderful morning with our fur-babies.  We were so surprised to wake up and see such beauty.
Here are just a few pix from our wintery excursion.  I would definitely say we LOVED the snow.
By the way, Lucy chose to look away the entire time.  ; )

Feed My Sheep

I recently had an  A M A Z I N G  opportunity to join with other fellow Believers to make ham & cheese sandwiches for the homeless people that frequent Presbyterian Night Shelter in Fort Worth.  I saw on facebook that a friend of mine was extending an invitation to anyone who wanted to help.  Their goal was to make more than 1900 total sandwiches.  Trinity Cumberland Presbyterian Church does this every other month & I cannot wait to go back in May.

There were 2300 ham & cheese sandwiches made & when we ran out of ham we kept going and made 257 (double) cheese sandwiches!!  The total time to assemble all the sandwich makings was 1.5 hours.  They hit a new goal, 2557 TOTAL sandwiches were made and delivered.

Each sandwich = .28
